With HRT
Yes, you can take Bloom alongside hormone therapy. There are no hormones in the formula — no estrogen, no progesterone, no testosterone. The four pathways in the Method are the ones HRT typically does not address: the brain-branch chemistry (saffron's effect on serotonin, dopamine, and GABA tone), the slow-burn loops (shilajit's effect on chronic inflammation, mitochondrial bioenergetics, bone resorption), and the sublingual delivery route. Many of our customers are on HRT and use Bloom to close the part of the disturbance HRT does not.
What to expect when layering:
- HRT typically closes the vasomotor symptoms (hot flashes, night sweats) first.
- Bloom typically closes the mood-sleep-focus axis and the joint-and-energy loop that HRT often leaves on the table.
- If you are on estradiol within ten years of your last period under sixty, the consensus position of the Menopause Society and the Endocrine Society is that the benefits generally outweigh the risks. We respect that.
What to tell your prescriber: that you have started a shatavari / saffron / shilajit-containing supplement. The saffron pathway has mild serotonergic activity — not a contraindication with HRT, but worth disclosing.
